Overview

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to build dynamic web applications with ASP.NET and Visual Studio. You will learn both rapid application development techniques and how to build n-tier web applications with efficient access to databases and sophisticated user interfaces employing data and model binding and data-source controls.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  • Build HTML 5 web application using ASP.NET
  • Design consistent user interfaces with Master Pages, User Controls, and Web Form Controls
  • Secure access to web applications using forms authentication.
  • Create a more responsive user interface with AJAX and Web API
  • Provide mobile-friendly web pages with JQuery Mobile.

Prerequisite:

  • Web Technology Fundamentals or its equivalent
  • Software Development Fundamentals or its equivalent
  • Database Fundamentals or its equivalent
